Buy 2015/16 Newcastle matchday tickets

Unknown to many, Newcastle United are in the 20 richest clubs in the world! Overall they have what could be deemed as a fairly successful club history with four League Championship titles and six FA Cups to their name, as well as frequent appearances in European competitions.

Football Ticket Pad sell Newcastle football tickets for every home game so that every fan has the chance to visit the iconic St.James Park. Our selection of Newcastle tickets includes the Tyne and Wear derby, which is one game you certainly don’t want to miss. NUFC tickets are always popular and you will be hard pushed to find fans more passionate about their team than the Geordie following.

The sheer number of dedicated fans that loyally flock to Newcastle matches every week makes for an unrivalled atmosphere that is a must if you have never experienced it. The ground, St.James Park, is located right in the heart of the city centre in Newcastle which makes for a unique matchday experience and which also makes it incredibly easy to access via train and bus routes.

2015/16 has been another season of turmoil at Newcastle United. Steve McClaren started the season in charge but after only six league wins and languishing in the relegation zone, the Englishman was sacked in March.

McClaren had made big money signings in the summer as he hoped to have a succesful season in the North-East bringing in new faces with the additions of Georginio Wijnaldum, Aleksandar Mitrovic, Chancel Mbemba and Florian Thauvin which took Newcastle's spending spree in excess of £45 million.

However, McClaren failed to get the best out of his side as they struggled to find any real consistancy. The January aquisitions of Andros Townsend and Jonjo Shelvey brought in some extra quality but it was all deemed to little to late as McClaren failed to get the best out of his big money signings with results going against him.

Rafael Benitez was the shock replacement and handed with the challenge of steering Newcastle United to safety with ten games to go. A manager of his pedigree was greeted with open arms around St-James and was a popular choice amongst the Toon Army.

Benitez will look to save the club who are battling relagation for a second consecutive season and maintain their Premier League status before rebuilding a team of his own as he looks to lead Newcastle back to their glory days.

Sam Alllardyce was beaming and the Stadium of Light was roaring at the final whistle as Sunderland dismantled a tepid Everton side 3-0 to secure their Premier League status last night.

As another season draws to a close, it is the time when many footballers call time on their careers. Some go into coaching, others into management and a handful into punditry. Following Steve McClaren’s sacking in March, Newcastle appeared to be staring into the abyss. Rafael Benitez has the biggest job of his career on his hands if he is to keep Newcastle United in the Premier League and he appears to have got Newcastle United fans believing once more.
