Vicente Calderón
The Vicente Calderón Stadium is located on the South Western edge of Madrid’s city centre, on the banks of the river Manzaneras.
We recommend reaching the stadium at least an hour in advance of kick-off. This will give you enough opportunity to sample the atmosphere and locate your seats in good time.
Getting There
Address: 241, Av. de América, 7-9, 28922 Alcorcón, Madrid, Spain
The nearest metro station is Pirámides which is on metro line 5. Once exiting the station, the stadium is around 10 minutes walk away.
Taxis operate between the city centre and stadium, although there is often a shortage immediately after the match, so it ma be wise to grab a post-match beer and wait for the crowds to disperse.
Food and Drink
The stadium is loacted in a fairly quiet neighbourhood, with a few bars and restaurants around, but it may be easier to eat or drink in the vibrant centre and then walk or take a metro to the stadium.
For food nearby the ground, look out for options such as El Chiscón de la Ribera bar, El Rancho steak house and Parador watering hole.
Atletico Madrid Shop
Be sure to leave enough time to visit the Atletico shop which sits within the stadium grounds. Here you can pick up football kits, training equipment, fashion, homeware, souvenirs and gifts.
