Chievo Verona is fascinatingly owned by a bakery company Paluani which was the inspiration for their original name Paluani Chievo. Chievo was touted with the nickname the Mussi Volanti (flying donkeys) in the Verona dialect of Venetian. This is a name they have now largely embraced as a badge of honour. However it was originally a derogatory term from a match chant sung by fans from across town rivals Hellas Verona. The song said that "when donkeys fly, we'll have a derby in Serie A''. Ironically Hellas are now the struggling team of the two. Chievo tickets can be bought through Football Ticket pad at unbeatable prices. Unlike most other football ticket websites we can offer Chievo tickets on the long side lower and the VIP section of the stadium.
