Evian Thonon Gaillard football club is a French association football club originally based in Gaillard near the Swiss border and the city of Geneva. The club then moved to Thonon-les-Bains. The club was only founded in 2003 and rapidly ascended through the divisions after just 3 seasons. In 2008 they won the Championnat De France amateur, followed by the Championnat National in 2010 and finally made it out of Ligue 2 in 2011 preparing to compete in top flight French football for the first time!
