Manchester City Club Information

There hasn’t been a team that has dominated English football the way that Manchester City have since 2012. After winning their first Premier League trophy in iconic fashion on the final day of the season, City have since won it seven more times, including four times back-to-back from 2020–2024.

The takeover of Manchester City by billionaire Sheikh Mansour from the Abu Dhabi royal family marked a new era in the Premier League. Smart financial backing and the right appointments in top-level director of football positions have created an English footballing monster that has since gone on to win the Champions League and begin dominating in Europe too.

Manchester City’s best players could field multiple ‘best Premier League’ sides, and include the likes of Sergio Aguero, Kevin De Bruyne, Vincent Kompany, Yaya Toure, David Silva, Ederson, and Fernandinho. City fans also appreciate their history through players like Colin Bell, Bert Trautmann, Peter Doherty, and Alan Oakes.

Colin Bell Stand

Named after the famous Man City midfielder from the 1960s–70s, the Colin Bell Stand operates as the Etihad’s main stand. It has three tiers for supporters to sit in and houses many of the premium hospitality lounges in the stadium.

South Stand

The South Stand is the liveliest stand where the most passionate home supporters sit. It is a large single-tier stand that is great for producing atmosphere and a loud vocal presence.

If you have a seat in the South Stand, you can expect a fantastic experience, surrounded by like-minded fans waving scarves and large banners.

North Stand

The North Stand is opposite the South Stand and is the Etihad’s other short side stand. This stand is where away fans will receive their small allocation of seats, with home fans still taking up the majority of the space.

East Stand

The East Stand is a two-tier long side stand opposite the Colin Bell Stand, where Man City fans will have a great view of the action at all times.

There are premium hospitality lounges available in this stand too, such as the 1894 Club and the Citizens Commonwealth Bar.
